Pension overview (UPO)

Your Uniform Pension Overview (UPO) tells you how much pension you have accrued with STIP, how much pension you may expect and what has been arranged for your surviving relatives if you die.

You can find your UPO at My pension
It is a digital version, that you can download from My archive via My pension. You can log in with your DigiD easily and securely.

When your UPO is available we will let you know via your email address
Have you already registered your (personal) email address? If not, you can do so via My pension, via Home >> Arranging quickly >> Change contact details. We only use your email address to send you a message with information about your pension or pension scheme.

My pension

This is what you find on your UPO

  • What pension you have accrued up to and including 1 January of the year of the UPO and what you will receive on your retirement date.
  • How much you will receive if you continue to work and retire on your retirement date.
  • What your partner or children will receive in pension if you die while employed by your employer.
  • What consequences the economy can have for your pension. Please also take a look at Outlook.
  • Do you receive a pension benefit? Then you will see what you receive in gross pension each year.

Where can you find the details of your pension scheme?
You can read what has or has not been arranged for your pension in Pension 1-2-3. This is the summary of STIP's pension regulations.

Overview with other pensions
At mijnpensioenoverzicht.nl (MPO) you find an overview of all pensions you accrued at any time with former employers and of your state pension (AOW). Here you also log in with your DigiD.

Expectations about your future benefits
Your UPO tells you how much pension you are expected to receive from your pension fund when you retire. You also see how much risk you run with your pension if economic circumstances are weak or strong. You see an estimate of your expected pension in those circumstances. When making this estimate, we also looked at possible increases or decreases in prices.

How do I know if my future pension will be enough?
At My pension you can explore your financial future at What if...?. When you log in for the first time, we will ask you some questions about your fixed costs. You can also easily enter pension accrued elsewhere. This helps you gain insight into your total financial picture.

Pension statement

You receive a pension statement once every year. If you're no longer a participant in our pension scheme, we make these statements available once a year on My pension at My archive. After you have left employment, we will send you a pension statement once every 5 years.

No, you cannot. The pension for your ex partner has already been deducted from your pension if you have been informed about this by the pension fund. The pension for your ex partner is not shown on your pension statement (UPO).

Yes, that’s correct. On your pension statement there is no separate mentioning of the extra pension from the value transfer. The value transfer has been incorporated in your pension statement if you have received our confirmation. In case you have not yet received a confirmation, your value transfer request has not yet been processed in our administration. Does your value transfer have a transfer date after January 1 of this year? In that case, the value transfer is not included in your UPO for this year.

If your partner’s name is not mentioned, then your partner has not been registered with us. At cohabitation you'll find more information on how and when you should register your partner with our pension fund. If you live in the Netherlands and are married or have a registered partnership, we are automatically updated by the local authorities from your municipality.
